Operational Analytics
One set of numbers everyone agrees on, and the rules that keep them true.
In scope
- 01
- Every metric defined once, with its source named.
- 02
- Rules for what counts: system of record, or it does not count.
- 03
- Dashboards built for a decision, not for a wall.
- 04
- The weekly review that uses them, or they die.
How we run it.
Dashboards fail because nobody agreed what the number means or where it comes from. We define each one, name its system of record, and write the rule that says unverifiable data does not count. Then we attach every number to the meeting where a decision gets made, because a dashboard nobody decides from stops being maintained inside a month.
One partner built automated KPI dashboards and a supply chain audit framework at a marketplace, plus leadership dashboards for a manufacturer, and deployed asset tracking that gave visibility of roughly INR 200 Cr of assets with movable asset losses down 95%. The other wrote the source-of-truth rules for a training business, where attendance and placement counted only from the system of record, and built cost dashboards for ground teams.
Process Excellence, the rest of the set.
- Business Process Re-engineeringRedesign the two or three processes costing you the most, and get the new version actually used.
- Lean Six SigmaLean and Six Sigma pointed at the two problems actually costing you money. Not a training programme.
