Supply Chain Strategy
Decide what the network should look like before you spend on it. Where stock sits, who supplies what, and what you stop doing.
In scope
- 01
- Network shape: how many nodes, where, and what each one is for.
- 02
- Sourcing structure, supplier terms and review cadence.
- 03
- What to own and what to buy, with the cost of each named.
- 04
- The three or four numbers the network is actually managed by.
How we run it.
Strategy here means a small number of decisions written down, not a deck. We map where goods, money and information move today, find the two or three places complexity is being paid for twice, and set the network shape that removes them. It comes first in the Operating Spine Install because the cadence and the dashboards built after it are only worth having on top of a structure that holds.
One partner ran global supply chain for a founder-led manufacturer for 22 months, covering sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and fulfilment. The other owned first-mile and last-mile design at a B2B commerce marketplace across five years. Both were operating roles held before MetMov, not consulting engagements.
